Dr Irfan Jeeva is a highly accomplished Ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience, holding both UK and European board certifications. His expertise spans oculoplastics, cataract and refractive surgery, and paediatric ophthalmology. He has held senior leadership roles at prestigious institutions including Aga Khan University and the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust.
A respected academic and educator, Dr Jeeva has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, regularly speaks at international educational forums, and serves as a clinical supervisor and examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He is also a recognised innovator, having introduced advanced techniques such as endoscopic DCR and dropless cataract surgery, and played a key role in establishing orbital oncology, ROP and paediatric ophthalmology services.
