Professor Bartholomeusz has been a medical practitioner for more than 45 years including more than 35 years of specialist practice. Professor Bartholomeusz is a senior plastic surgeon with experience in all areas of plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery. In addition to his clinical experience Professor Bartholomeusz has a 48 year history of service in the Australian Defence Force and in senior leadership positions within the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australian and International Day Surgery Councils, and  the Professional Services Review.
