Dr Nottingham is a Specialist Anaesthetist with broad experience across tertiary anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, trauma and retrieval medicine. Dr Nottingham has practised as a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist at Gold Coast University Hospital since 2020, with clinical experience spanning general, obstetric and paediatric anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, emergency and trauma surgery, neurosurgery, cardiac and thoracic surgery, and the perioperative assessment of high-risk patients.
Dr Nottingham has additional experience in aeromedical retrieval, critical care and rural and international anaesthesia, including clinical and teaching roles in Fiji, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific region. Dr Nottingham has particular interests in regional anaesthesia, point-of-care ultrasound and echocardiography, trauma and retrieval medicine, and quality improvement in perioperative care.
