Dr Cecilia Yong is a general dentist, founder and medicolegal dental consultant with over a decade of experience in general, complex restorative and surgical dentistry across public and private practice. Dr Yong is Founder and Principal Dentist of Smyla Dental, a mobile dental service focused on accessible care for children and older patients. Dr Yong has postgraduate training in orthodontics and implant dentistry, together with medicolegal training through the Australasian College of Legal Medicine and the NSW Motor Accidents Scheme Permanent Impairment Assessment Program. Dr Yong provides independent, evidence-based dental assessments and expert opinions in personal injury, motor accident, workers compensation and medical negligence matters, including permanent impairment assessment.
