Dr Andrew Renaut is an experienced colorectal and general surgeon based in Brisbane, with a career spanning the UK, USA, Australia, and New Zealand. He has extensive expertise in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal disease management, and trauma surgery. His clinical focus includes colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and complex hernia repairs.

In addition to his surgical practice, Dr Renaut is a visiting Professor of Surgery at Jiangnan University in China and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Bond and Griffith Universities in Queensland. His research interests include immune mechanisms in cancer, and he has proposed the Renaut Hypothesis, linking defective immune function to major chronic diseases.
